Supported Browsers for accessing Directworks
- Google Chrome
- Internet Explorer (Version 11)
- Microsoft Edge (Windows 10 Only)
*Other browsers may work but aren't officially supported.
Note: If your default browser isn't one of the supported browsers, email sent from Directworks containing web links will open those links in the unsupported browser.
If you've encountered an issue with the site and are using a browser that isn't supported, please try one of the supported browsers before contacting the Help Desk.
You do not have to change your default browser to use Directworks. You can open Internet Explorer or Google Chrome by clicking on the corresponding icon on your Desktop. Then navigate to Directworks by using the correct web address.
If Google Chrome is not installed on your computer it is available as a free download for the following platforms.

Default Browser Setting for Internet Explorer 11
Step 1 (IE Users): Open Internet Explorer and go to Internet Options by clicking the 'Gear' icon in the top right corner or by clicking on 'Tools' in the Menu bar.
Step 2 (IE Users): On the 'Programs Tab' Check the box that says "Tell Me if IE is not my default Browser".
Step 3 (IE Users): If the 'Make Default' button can be clicked on, selecting it will set IE as your default browser. If the 'Make Default' button can't be selected it means IE is already set as the default web browser.
Default Browser Setting for Google Chrome
Step 1 (Chrome Users): Open Google Chrome and go to 'Customize and Control Google Chrome' by clicking the icon with the horizontal dashes in the top right corner.
Step 2 (Chrome Users): Click on the 'Settings' option. A new Chrome tab will open with the browser's settings.
Step 3 (Chrome Users): Click on the button under 'Default Browser' to make Google Chrome your default browser. If you don't have this button Chrome may already be the default browser. The message "The default browser is currently Google Chrome." will be displayed.
