You have upgraded to Windows 10 or purchased a new PC with Windows 10 and receive the following message when attempting to log in to CX4:
"The browser you are using is incompatible with this web application. This application requires Internet Explorer version 6 or greater."
Issue in Detail:
Microsoft has replaced Internet Explorer with the Edge browser. CX4 requires that ActiveX is enabled within Internet Explorer's settings, but Microsoft’s Edge Browser does not support ActiveX.
If your PC has been upgraded from Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 the previous version of Internet Explorer is still installed on your system. To navigate to the previous version of Internet Explorer follow the steps below:
Using the 'Search the web and Windows' search next to the Start button type 'Internet Explorer'.
The best match should return two options. Select Internet Explorer from your search results and continue to login to CX4. If the search results did not return Internet Explorer you may need to install it. Additional information is in the next section.
Installing Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 10
If your PC was purchased with Windows 10 or if a clean install of Windows 10 was performed then download Internet Explorer 11 from Microsoft.
Verify if you need the 32-bit or 64-bit edition of the browser. You can confirm this by going to Control Panel to check on your System type.

If your Windows account has limited access you may need assistance from your IT department to complete the installation.
A short cut for Internet Explorer 11 can be added to your Start Menu and/or Task Bar by 'right clicking' on the Explorer icon with the mouse.
