CX4 uses a Secure Collaboration Format or CSCF to store and view documents in the system for both viewing and sharing between companies. Because our application is based on the Web, it requires some configuration of Internet Explorer to make sure you have the smoothest experience uploading and downloading files. I will outline some of the most important IE settings below. Remember, always contact and IT professional if you are unsure if a setting should be changed on your machine. If you run into any issues. Step 1: We need to ensure that there are no internal security or firewall issues that would prevent you from uploading or viewing CSCF Files. Type the following link in the IE Browser http://eec.co-exprise.com/NetCom/control_panel.cscf Do not be alarmed at the large amount of strange characters. This is exactly what we want to see. If you see the letters "CSCF" you do not have to worry about a security issue. If you do not, please contact your internal IT team and have them allow data transfer from your machine to CX4. Sometimes you will see a security message asking you to "Allow" access to this site. While completely harmless, it is best to consult with IT before allowing an exception to our program. Note: We can not change these security settings for you.
Step 2: If you are still having file upload/download issues after trying the above link, we can make sure that your HTTP 1.1 settings are correctly configured to work with CX4. Open up Internet Explorer Tools.
Step 3: Click on Internet Options and go to the Advanced Tab. Scroll down until you find HTTP 1.1 Settings. Make sure both Boxes are Checked.
